As owners of a large organic coffee farm here in Hawaii, my husband and I are serious about how we prepare our daily brew. After years of hand grinding I wanted to switch to an electric burr grinder. I did a lot of research on which one to get. The Timemore Whirly 019 was the one I chose. It is very well made, quiet to run, and makes a consistent grind day after day. We make a pour over and I was able to dial in (after some experimenting) just the grind we need for a delicious cup of coffee. The Whirly is the PERFECT FIT for us. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I recently replaced my Timemore C5 ESP with the Whirly 01S, and it has been a fantastic upgrade. As someone who grinds specifically for espresso, I was ready to move on from manual grinding, and this portable electric grinder has been the perfect solution. It is incredibly efficient, operates with surprisingly low noise, and offers the high level of precision needed for dialing in espresso shots. It is an excellent, reliable choice for daily use, especially for a single-person household.

This grinder is fantastic for pour over, it gives a nice clarity and body to my cups. Size and weight are perfect and it’s really easy to clean. The only “flaw” is that there is no indicator for low battery so a good practice for me is charge it every 2 weeks to prevent it to stop in the middle of the grinding.

Exactly what I wanted, small, portable if needed, quiet. Only thing that was not the easiest was figuring out the grind size, just have to read the directions and it all.worked out fine. Really a great product especially when you love coffee and your the only coffee drinker in the house! Size is perfect for my pourover needs!

Compact, nicely built and easy to pack for trips. An (optional) protective case would have been nice. Seems to give a good grind for a wide range of drinks. Have had it for a week and cannot comment on durability. Happy overall with my purchase.

I've changed your review from 1 to 5. This grinder is championship-level and respects the flavor of coffee. If you use another grinder, it will quickly ruin the flavor of the beans. I highly recommend this product for moka pots and espresso.

I have a TimeMore scale and hand grinder and have been VERY impressed with the value and performance as compared to other products in this space at considerably higher prices. I was not expecting much here for the price, but I am more than a little bit impressed. I love this grinder. I have used it 2 to 4 times daily for a week without needing to charge. The grind is impressive. I highly recommend this to value oriented coffee gadget geeks like me. Im not sure there are any other choices in this space, but if there were i cant imagine them being less than doule the price. This is a home run!
